Decoupling Mat – a versatile 3-layered system that offers more than just decoupling capability. With its anti crack properties and optimized shearing force protection, it enables the laying of new tiles on old or damaged tiled floors, provided they are still load-bearing. Shield your tiles from cracks with the Decoupling Membrane, designed to halt surface cracks before they reach your tiles. Whether it’s concrete, plywood, or any other surface, this membrane provides essential protection to ensure your tiles remain flawless.
When used with underfloor heating, the GBHOME Decoupling Mat's air channels ensure even distribution of heat below the tiled floor. It also compensates for temperature-related stresses in balconies and terraces. This versatile matting system is suitable for various sub surfaces, including cement screed, calcium sulphate screed, hot screeds, mastic asphalt screeds, concrete, synthetic laminates and coatings, plywood, chipboard, and wooden floorboards.
