Anti Crack Decoupling Mat - Uncoupling Waterproof Membrane - 1 x 30m Roll
Introducing the GBHOME Decoupling Mat – a versatile 3-layered system that offers more than just decoupling capability. With its anti crack properties and optimized shearing force protection, it enables the laying of new tiles on old or damaged tiled floors, provided they are still load-bearing. Shield your tiles from cracks with the Decoupling Membrane, designed to halt surface cracks before they reach your tiles. Whether it’s concrete, plywood, or any other surface, this membrane provides essential protection to ensure your tiles remain flawless.
When used with underfloor heating, the GBHOME Decoupling Mat's air channels ensure even distribution of heat below the tiled floor. It also compensates for temperature-related stresses in balconies and terraces. This versatile matting system is suitable for various sub surfaces, including cement screed, calcium sulphate screed, hot screeds, mastic asphalt screeds, concrete, synthetic laminates and coatings, plywood, chipboard, and wooden floorboards.

not much to like or dislike, used to insulate a bedroom floor. Hard to quantify if it works or not, but the kitchen below it does seem to be warmer.

I used the boards for 2 things. The first was to attach to the inside of my garage door to protect my car tailgate when opening. The second was to soundproof the back of my piano. Perfect for both applications

I’ve used this product lots of time, and I’ve never had any problems from the seller, they advised me on the product I needed for the job. I used it for ground cover and for bottom sheets on model railway. Ideal for that particular job.
